Star Wars

Finally after months of suspense Star Wars for Xbox kinect has been released and I'm sure it is going to one of the most popular kinect games for 2012.

In the demo video (see below) released about this Star Wars kinect game, a player in shown from a third-person view fighting wave after wave of enemies using a light saber and the Force as his main weapons.

Kinect Star Wars is truly a must have game if you have the Kinect. We had a blast playing this!

My kids and their friends had so much fun with the light saber,it may not be 100% accurate, but it was so much fun.

For Star Wars fans, this game is exactly what we expected: a fun, new medium to immerse ourselves into that world. The scenes we've replayed in our minds for years are no longer reserved for our imaginations only. This is as real as it gets until a holodeck version comes out.

Star Wars Review

1. Jedi mode - Training to become a Jedi is the key to this game. Swinging a lightsaber or waving your hand (for the force) has never been so fun. This is the mode you'll be spending the most time in.

2. Duel mode - Eh. Just a bunch of one-on-one battles. Even a fighting game fan like myself found this mode got old pretty fast, especially since you can only duel NPC opponents.

3. Podracing mode - A half-decent "driving" game within the game! Just six races but podracers can be customized. Beautiful backdrops on the various planets too. `Controller-free' piloting isn't all that great though.

4. Rancor mode - Surprisingly lots of fun! You are one of five monsters who run about destroying things.

5. Dance mode - I can't believe this is in here. Is anyone really going to be spending a lot of time dancing for Jabba.

The player isn't actually holding anything yet his movements are synchronized quite perfectly with the screen, where a light saber is flying back and forth. The accurate movements and game play shows what's in store for the future of gaming?
